You read right. Not toys, but Tuys.
Their story begins in Dudelange in 2007. Three youngsters wanting nothing more than to entertain the masses. They have their first rehearsal at ten, their first TV appearance at thirteen and their first Rockhal gig at fourteen. Laurent Thiry joins the ranks in 2011 and completes the proper rock band line-up.
Tuys just completed the most active year in band history by playing at major festivals like Food For Your Senses and winning the newcomer contests Screaming Fields and Rock the South. Tun, Sam, Kay and Laurent now turn their heads to 2013, concentrating all their energy into their first EP, which they released last March. The single "People" was the 3rd most played luxembourgish song 2012 on Eldoradio.
To call Tuys basically pop would be unfair to the band. They succeed in combining a multitude of influences into an interesting puzzle of rock, pop and alternative tunes, shaping their very own genre. It's best to form your own mind.
